An Invitation
There is something deeply healing about slowing down, taking a breath and giving yourself permission to simply be.
In a world that moves at an ever-increasing pace, Come Home is an invitation to step away from the noise and return to what matters most.
A day to move your body.
To breathe deeply.
To share homemade food around the table.
To wander amongst the trees.
To rest.
To reconnectβwith nature, with community and with yourself.
Set in a beautiful private country home in the hills of Burekup, Come Home is a gentle celebration of slow living.
There is no pressure to achieve.
No expectations to meet.
Just space to exhale.
To be nourished.
To be present.
And to remember that home isn't simply a place.
It's a feeling we return to.
The Rhythm of the Day
πΏ Arrive
We'll begin by gathering over tea as you settle into the peaceful surroundings and meet your fellow retreat guests.
Take a moment to slow down, breathe deeply and leave the busyness of everyday life behind.
π§ Move
Our morning begins with a warming yoga practice to awaken the body, reconnect with the breath and gently ease you into the day.
Guided by Mars, the practice weaves together yoga philosophy, creative sequencing, thoughtful alignment and mindful movement in a way that welcomes every body and every level of experience.
Together, we'll explore a simple mantra to carry throughout the dayβa gentle reminder to return to the present moment and the quiet wisdom within.
β Pause
After our morning practice, we'll pause.
Enjoy a warm cup of tea and homemade morning tea overlooking the rolling hills. Take time to savour the moment, connect with others or simply sit in the stillness before we continue our journey inward.
β¨ Restore
Our afternoon unfolds with a deeply restorative Somatics, Yin Yoga and Sound Bath experience.
Beginning with gentle somatic movement, we'll ease into supported Yin postures, where optional hands-on assists offer an opportunity for greater softness and release.
As you rest, therapeutic sound bowls, healing instruments and Mars's gentle vocal soundscapes will surround you, creating a deeply calming space to rest, soften and simply let go.
There is nothing to achieve.
Only an invitation to soften.
To receive.
To simply be.
π³ Rest or Wander
Following our restorative practice, the afternoon is yours to enjoy in whatever way feels most nourishing.
You may choose to take a gentle mindful walk through the surrounding bushland, or simply stay and soak up the peace of the property.
Find a quiet spot to enjoy a warm cup of tea.
Read.
Journal.
Meditate.
Rest.
Share a gentle conversation.
Or simply sit in silence and take in the sweeping views across the Ferguson Valley.
There is no agenda and no right way to spend this timeβjust an invitation to slow down and enjoy being exactly where you are.
If you'd like to take a nature walk, please bring a comfortable pair of walking shoes.
π½ Gather
We'll come back together around the table to share a wholesome homemade seasonal lunch, lovingly prepared and enjoyed in good company.
There is something deeply nourishing about sharing simple food and unhurried conversation around the table.
It's often around the table where friendships begin, stories are shared and community naturally unfolds.
πΏ Linger
Although our retreat officially concludes after lunch, there is no need to rush away.
You're warmly invited to stay a little longer and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Wander through the gardens.
Find a sunny spot to read or journal.
Take in the views across the Ferguson Valley.
Or simply sit quietly with one last cup of tea before making your way home.
Sometimes the most meaningful moments are the ones we don't rush.
