Yoga has taught Corinne the importance of nurturing and nourishing the body and mind. After living in Melbourne, the call to explore new places and be near the coast drew her to the South-West of WA. She finds wonder and awe in the simplest of things and loves surrounding herself with like-minded people & a good, strong coffee! Alongside yoga, she’s a high school teacher and is passionate about creating a sense of community where everyone feels welcome. Her classes are dynamic and mindful, with a focus on alignment. Corinne aims for her students to simply leave her class feeling better than when they started.

Paul grew up in Scotland and had a love of Eastern spirituality from an early age - but he didn’t discover yoga until much later. It took a lack of mobility, due to back surgery and other intense exercise, for him to take the plunge and start his practice. He started his practice with Hatha, then Vinyasa and Hot Yoga, which is where he found his niche. Paul wanted to progress his yoga and in 2019 went to Mysore, India, to study Ashtanga at Nirvana Yoga Shala where he completed his teacher training. Paul now starts his teaching journey with Shala Yoga.

Jo started yoga in her early teens after finding a book on Hatha yoga in her mother’s book collection. This book was the start of a 25 year yoga obsession, sampling all of the yoga styles possible, and falling truly in love with Vinyasa. She believes in the power of breath, mindfulness and discipline in her practice and hopes to inspire her students to find their inner strength and peace of mind when they take to their mats.

Born in the UK, Kerry was raised in Australia with a very eclectic ancestry linked to gypsies and sea folk. Carrying on in her ancestors footsteps she values travel and nature and could never imagine living away from the ocean. Yoga's been a part of Kerry’s life ever since copying her mum on the lounge room floor and staring endlessly at images of yoga practitioners in the single yoga book she owned growing up. In 2020, Kerry completed her 200hrs yoga training and more recently children and teens yoga. She has a background in health prevention and promotion, youth mental health, community development and performing arts.

As a local surfer, Adam has always enjoyed being in tune with body, mind and environment. Drawn to yoga through this connection, Adam has developed a strong passion for yoga - experiencing the benefits of practice and the ever evolving challenges and triumphs of daily life. Intrigued by how modern science correlates with ancient philosophy, Adam completed 500hrs of yoga training to enable his contribution as a teacher. Working in Hatha, Vinyasa and Restorative, as well as incorporating pranayama and meditation, you will experience classes where the physical balance platforms the mental practice. Adam’s classes offer space and guidance for the yogi to develop in their own way.

Brydie began practicing yoga and meditation at 12 years of age with her mother and sister, a fidgety child, she quickly abandoned the tedious meditation for obsession over the pleasure of the physical practice. It was not until in her late 20’s when she returned to the various forms of meditation that she began to appreciate and understand the practice. Brydie completed her 200hr teacher training in 2017, followed by a degree in psychology and diploma of art therapy. She brings these learnings to her classes in the hope to motivate and empower students on and off the mat.

Scott innately ponders the non-temporal, spiritual world, knowing yoga is a journey more so than a practice, a continuum of oneness. In our fast-paced modern world yoga can be practiced for longevity, holistic health and wellbeing, mental and physical injury prevention and recovery, or as a way to live a better life. Scott’s own yoga journey began as a healing one over 10 years ago and has morphed into one of self-discovery. After completing 250 hours of training, now he brings a balance of reality and possibility to his classes, through creative sequencing. Scott hopes to inspire you on your yoga journey, so that you may take peace with you everywhere you go.
