Limitation of Liability

The Retreat Guest should be physically and mentally able to participate in retreat activities. The Retreat Guest takes full personal responsibility during the retreat for their safety during all activities including travel, yoga, walking, hiking, swimming and general movement around the property.

Retreat Guests are solely responsible for damage they cause to themselves, others as well as objects including the objects and structures of the private retreat property.

Retreat Organisers assume no liability for the loss of or damage to personal belongings of participants. Retreat Organisers are not held responsible for the return of any personal items left at the property.

The Retreat Organisers are exempt from any liability claims.

Code of Conduct

Everyone attending this retreat, guests and staff, has the right to feel safe and free from any harm, harassment or aggression.

We retain the right to ask Retreat Guests who cause disturbance to others or do not comply with an ethical and respectful atmosphere on the retreat to leave, forfeiting their retreat fee.

General Payment Guidelines

We only accommodate a limited number of guests therefore your booking reservation is only confirmed following payment of a $250 non refundable deposit, payable within 48hrs of receipt of our email confirmation. Full payment due 45 days before the beginning of the retreat (7 January 2026).

Deposits are per person, you must pay the retreat deposit for every person on the booking.

You can opt to pay in full or take up our Payment Plan, i.e. 2 additional payments following the deposit - the 1st by 28 November 2025 and the final by 7 January 2026.

Bookings made less than 45 days before the start dates must be paid in full.

Cancellation, Change & Refund Policy

The Retreat Guest can cancel and receive a refund less the $250 non refundable deposit only if their place is filled by another guest. 

The retreat booking remains fully transferable to another Retreat Guest, upon discussion, until the beginning of the event. The Retreat Organiser will also try to fill the retreat place and thereby refund any payment minus the deposit.

If the Retreat Guest finds a new guest to take their retreat place, which is upon agreement with Retreat Organisers, the transfer of retreat fees is to be negotiated between the old and new guests. If the Retreat Organiser can find someone to take the place we will refund any retreat fees paid by the new Retreat Guest, minus the deposit.

Deposits and Retreat fees are non refundable except in the case of Retreat Organisers canceling an event.

Other Considerations

The age limit for attending this retreat is 18yrs unless previously discussed.

Travel to and from The Cove remains the responsibility of the retreat guest. During registration we will ask if any retreat guests would like to carpool. We will then put all people interested in carpooling in contact with one another but it will be up to retreat guests to organise any carpooling themselves.

General fitness is required to participate in the retreat.

Payment Method & Fees

Your booking is not considered final until we receive full payment from you.

You will receive a Tax Invoice to pay your deposit and outstanding balance(s).

Bank Transfers are the preferred method of payment to reduce transaction fees.

Any payments made via Stripe using a Domestic (Australian) card will incur a 1.7% + $0.25 per transaction surcharge (including GST).

Any payments made via Square using a Domestic (Australian) card will incur a 1.9% surcharge (including GST).

Changes to Advertised Program

We reserve the right to make changes to the scheduled offering as necessary.

Retreat Guest Agreement

By agreeing to this Retreat Guest Agreement, the participant releases the Retreat Organisers and its representatives, partners and associates from all responsibility and liability.

The Retreat Guest agrees as follows: “I am entirely responsible for my own personal safety, health, and mental, physical, emotional, and general well-being during and after the Retreat. I release Mars Gossi as the Retreat Leader and the Retreat Organisers and their representatives, and any of their employees, assistants, and affiliates, of any liability for any injuries or damages mentally or physically I might incur during the Retreat.  I hold the Retreat Organisers harmless for anything that might happen to me or to my possessions during the Retreat. I understand that no health insurance or travel insurance is provided by the Retreat organisers, and, if I wish to be insured, I have to do this myself. I have read and understand the Retreat Participant Agreement.”

General Waiver

The Retreat Guest shall hold the Retreat Organisers free and harmless from any and all claims for losses, damages, injuries, and liabilities arising from the Retreat Organisers’ activities as well as the costs, including attorneys’ fees, of defending against them.

By agreeing to the Retreat Guest Agreement, the participant releases the Retreat Organisers and its representatives from all responsibility and liability.

The Retreat Organisers take no responsibility or liability for cancellations, delays or changes for any reason, and the Retreat Participant expressly waives any right to hold Retreat Organisers liable for:

1) Changes or delays in travel plans.

2) Injury, loss, or damage to persons or property, including luggage and valuables.

3) Defect in any vehicle or the act or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the Retreat Participants, or in carrying out the arrangements of the Retreat, or otherwise.

4) Additional expenses incurred or due to sudden sickness, weather conditions, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, acts of God, threat of war or terrorist threats, civil strife, industrial action, technical problems, staff cancellations, pandemic, border closures, or any unforeseen changes in personal circumstances or other events beyond our control.

5) Losses due to any cancellations.

The Retreat Guest expressly waives any right to hold Retreat Organisers liable for injury, death, delay, theft, damage, or irregularities, however caused.
